Joseph Ryan Obituary
Toms River
Joseph (Joe) Lorenzo Ryan, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015. Born on Sept. 8, 1932 in Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland, Joseph is survived by his six children, Stephen Ryan and his wife Liliam, Paul Ryan and his wife Maureen, Philip Ryan, daughter Anna Robertson and her husband Patrick, Terri Munkacsy and her husband Christopher and Carmel Ryan; his 11 grandchildren, Kristy Sheppard (Ryan), Kerri Sutter (Ryan), Kara Ryan, Megan Munkacsy, Sean Munkacsy, Aedan Robertson, Katherine Munkacsy, Caelinn Robertson, Bane Ryan, Javier Ryan and Enrique Ryan, as well as five great-grandchildren, Madison Sheppard, Camryn Sheppard, Conor Sheppard, Caelin Sutter and Rylin Sutter. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Katherine (Sue) Ryan (Fitzsimons).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at Saint Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River, NJ 08753. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery on Cedar Grove Road in Toms River. As per his wishes, private calling hours were previously held.

Joe was one in a million - every conversation involved a lot of raucous laughter and fun. We are grateful he passed away peacefully and he will be in our thoughts now and always.
