Oliver Ferraro Obituary
AGE: 27 • Spring Lake
Oliver R. Ferraro, 27 of Spring Lake, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015. Oliver was born in Neptune and had resided in Spring Lake, Santa Monica, CA and then in Spring Lake Heights where he just recently purchased his own home.
He was a graduate of Hunter College and had been employed with HULU, Inc. in California, and most recently as a Marketing Director and Film Maker with NRG Solar, Wall. Oliver was also the President of the West Coast Bulldog Club.
Oliver was described by his Dad as a "lover of life". He recently grew his own vegetable garden at his new home and would proudly distribute his tomatoes and other items to his neighbors and family.
He is survived by his large dedicated family whom he loved with all his heart. They include his devoted parents, Robert A. and Susan Clark Ferraro of Spring Lake; his cherished siblings, John of Spring Lake, Anthony of Arcata, CA, Maya Brady and husband Ken of Spring Lake Heights, and Claire Ferraro of New York. He was the beloved uncle of Stella and Robert Brady, the dear grandson of Anna and John Ferraro and William and Claire Clark, the Godson of John J. Bruno Jr. and Joyce Pegler and the nephew and cousin of so many.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Mass in Celebration of Oliver's Life will be offered on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Margaret's Church, Corner of 3rd and Ludlow Aves., Spring Lake. Please go directly to St. Margaret's Church on Wednesday as there will not be a public procession from the Funeral Home. Committal will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the Ferraro family specifically requests donations be made in memory of Oliver to St. Lucy Day School for Children with Visual Impairments, 4251 "L" St., Philadelphia, PA 19124. Envelopes will be provided at the Funeral Home on Tuesday.

I haven't seen Oliver seen Little League days but kept abreast of his achievements through my sons. My heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends. Because of him, I will be ever more grateful for lives precious moments and humble regarding the fragility of life. Heaven will be a better place now.
