Walter F. Wright

AGE: 90 • Wall Twp.

Walter F. Wright, 90, of Wall Township died Thursday at Preferred Care at Wall, Wall Township. He was born in Newark and had resided in Freehold before moving to Lakewood and later Wall Township. He was a graduate of St. Benedict's Preparatory School, Newark. He was a systems analyst for Macy's, New York City before his retirement.

Mr. Wright was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold where he served as an usher. He was a past president of the Freehold Little League, a coach in the St. Rose of Lima Basketball League, and a member of Freehold Council No. 1672, Knights of Columbus.

He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Wright in 1999 and a daughter, Meredith in 1963. Surviving are four sons, Walter A. Wright, Vincent D. Wright, Christopher A. Wright, and Justin T. Wright; and his grandchildren, Justin, Stephany, Daniel, Melanie, Justin, and Marcus.

The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum.
