Daniel Hansen Obituary
Daniel Laurence Hansen, 45, of Olivehurst, CA, passed away on April 20, 2016 and was tragically taken from his family and friends in a motorcycle accident while commuting to work. He was born on May 5, 1970 in Newport Beach, CA.
He worked for the Sacramento Truck Center as a diesel mechanic for 14 years. He resided in the Yuba/Sutter counties since 1999.
He is survived by his wife Sarah Ann Lowe Hansen of Olivehurst CA; his children, Jennifer Gabriele Katharina Hansen and Jessica Margaret Arlene Hansen of Algoma, WI, Deborah Laura Hansen, Isabel Reese Hansen, and Peyton Orion Hansen of Olivehurst, CA; his mother Lilly Hansen Williams and stepfather Billy Williams of Clovis, NM; his siblings, David Joseph Hansen of Bumpass, VA, April Terese Hansen of Marysville, CA, and Julianna Mitchell of San Angelo, TX. He was preceded in death by his father Laurence Richard Hansen of Clovis, NM.
He joined the Army in 1989 and served for three and a half years.
In closing, Dan will be remembered as a loving devoted father, brother, son and friend. He was adored and respected by many and we will truly miss him, and his love of the Raiders and passion of exploring the world with his motorcycle and buddies. May he rest in peace.
A memorial will be held at Sutter Cemetery on May 2, 2016 at 10:00 am.

Our prayers go out to all of the family members of Dan Hansen. It is such a difficult time to deal with the passing of a father, son, immediate family member, friend, and co-worked, but know that he is fellowshipping with the Lord and rejoicing with the angels in Heaven!

Duane and I will miss him! He loved talking about Raiders football with us and I am so glad he came down in January to Duane's mother's funeral. Prayers to the family and love from us.

Lilly and family, We were so sorry to hear about Dan. We know firsthand what it's like to lose a child, regardless of their age. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Cherish the good times and memories you have made throughout the years. Prayers with you during this most difficult time. The pain will let up, but not for a long, long time. Just put your trust and faith in the Lord and He will get you through it!

Dear Family,
My heartfelt condolences to you all.
I was at the scene moments after the colision and provided some limited assistance.
I will keep Daniel in my prayers after daily mass for the next month. In addition, I will be having a mass said for him at St. Stephen's the First Martyr Parish here in Sacramento.
