I am so sorry to read that Dennis had died. He was in my first grade class and then moved to second grade with me the following year. He was a wonderful student who was always smiling and eager to be of help. When he grew up he would occasionally stop by to visit after school. He will be missed.

I can´t believe Dennis is gone! I never had a chance to get to know him very well but I bought a stereo from his shop about a year ago. I really enjoyed my time getting to visit with him while James installed it. You occasionally hear about people like him, down to earth, genuine, generous, just an all around good guy but in my life I´ve rarely actually met someone like that. Dennis was all that and more. I would actually stop in just to say hi sometimes when I was near his shop and he always took time to talk for a few minutes. I stopped by his shop just a couple months ago to say hi and visit but I could tell he wasn´t feeling well. I left his shop feeling bad for him but I had no idea that whatever he had going on was serious, I just thought he´d caught some kind of bug and would be his usual talkative self next time I stopped. Then when I saw his obituary I was totally shocked! Even though I never got to know him well I feel like I´ve lost an old friend. People like him are far and few between these days.

I bought a stereo from him a few years ago. Very nice and helpful guy. I just remember how down to earth and professional he was. My condolences go out to his family and friends. RIP.

I remember Dennis as a young kid who delivered newspapers, he was also good friends with my cousin Don Abella and when he passed away Dennis came to his funeral and played the music that Don loved in his black Nissan
