Doris Bowman Obituary
Doris Helen Bowman, 84, of Marysville, CA passed away March 19, 2013 at Rideout Hospital. Born July 12, 1928 in Hollis, Oklahoma, she was a resident of the Yuba Sutter area since 1976.
Doris was a nurse for 50 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star-Santa Cruz, California.
Survivors include sons: Bennett Walker of Oroville, CA, and James Minten of Arbuckle, CA; daughters: Sharon Harris of Marysville, CA, and Terry Minten of Marysville, CA; three grandchildren; seven great - grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Church of Christ, 1470 Sartori Ave., Marysville, CA. Burial will be at Live Oak Cemetery, in Live Oak, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Services are under the direction of Lipp and Sullivan Funeral Directors.

my dearest,grandmother, i know your at peace now,with your loving husband cliff, your mother father,ken.and the rest of our family who have made this journey before us,and will be waiting for the rest to follow.
grandma i just want to thank you for all the the great childhood memories you gave me,like the blue zipper & how you included me,also taught me to love sewing,which will always be my love,and for never turning your back on me,when i fell in love with a person of darker color,NOT only that... made my wedding,cliff giving me away to the man i loved,and how you dressed me in my beautiful white dress.
i,ve always knew you love me for me,without judgment,only love.
my gammy that,s free from this earthly pain,now you can be free from all,and only feel love,forever....
Till the day i join you in our heavens ,always know i will never stop loving,you !
