Marshall Goforth Obituary


Marshall Earl Goforth, age 88, of Wheatland, CA, passed away on January 6, 2015. He was a long time Yuba-Sutter resident.

Marshall was a WWII veteran and a farmer for 50 years. He loved his family deeply and loved nature, especially birds.

Marshall is survived by his wife of 66 years, Muriel Goforth; three children, Gregory (Bill Watson) Goforth, Diane (David) Waltz and Reginald (Judy) Goforth; grandchildren, Sean (Amy) Goforth and Danielle Goforth; and great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Gavin Goforth.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wheatland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers or food for the family, it is asked that donations be given to the American Cancer Society at 1270 Stabler Lane, Yuba City, CA.
