David Roy Wells

Brandon, SD ~ David Wells, age 51, died on Sunday, June 16, 2013.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Community Reformed Church, in Sioux Falls. Family present visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Community Reformed Church in Sioux Falls. In lieu of flowers a memorial is preferred to Children's Home Society.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Linda Wells of Brandon; four children, Autumn Wells, Sioux Falls, Emily Wells, Bremerton, WA, Hilary Wells, Brandon, and David Wells Jr. of Brandon; mother, Ellen Wells, Sioux Falls, four siblings, Daniel (Kim) Wells, Worthing, Manuela Wells, Mallissa Wells, McKinney, TX and Malinda (Brad) Engbarth, Canistota; Goddaughter, Amanda Engbarth, Canistota; Godson, Brian Wells of Worthing; his Elite Electric family and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

David is preceded in death by his father, James Wells; and first wife, Amber Jacobson Wells.

We have known David for many years. He has fished the Lake Francis Case Walleye tournament that we host for many years. We have enjoyed his friendship and compassion for many years. We were VERY saddened to hear the terrible news. He will be missed very much!! He was one of a kind!!
