Our thought and prayers are with you and your family. It is always so difficult to say that final 'Good-bye' no matter the circumstance. It seems like yesterday that we had a nice visit at the Avera Prairie Center.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you...Take Care and God Bless!!

Dear Gerry family,
Kay hired me as a nurses aide on labor and delivery as a nursing student, and later hired me as an RN, 36 years ago in labor and delivery, She took care of me when I had my first baby, and has always been an inspiration to me as a nurse. She was the best role model to me as a new nurse and always guided everyone in the right direction in the most professional way.
I will always remember her with fond memories.
I want to express heartfelt sympathy to you all!

Dale & family---you probably don't even remember me---Lou & Tina Moser's daughter, Audrey...I babysat for your girls a lot a couple of summers when Kay worked, while you folks were our neighbors south of Lester. I was privileged to reconnect with Kay a few times at the Avera Nursing Conferences when we both attended. Kay was my inspiration, as a teenager, to choose a career in nursing...and here I am, still practicing all these years later. I loved Lisa and Lori (Lori took her first steps to me one evening while Kay was at work! I remember Kay felt so bad when I told her that! :)...and though I never met Lance, I want to express heartfelt sympathy to you all. Kay was a wonderful woman with a very big heart. Seeing her smile in this picture brings back many fond memories from 40+ years ago. Audrey (Moser) Metzger
