Family-Placed Death Notice
TAYLOR, Alfred ALFRED CHARLES TAYLOR (A.C.) Alfred Charles Taylor (A.C.) a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. A. C. Taylor was the fourth of ten children born to the late A.C. and Mattie (Jarrett) Taylor in Marvell, Arkansas. The love he gave to his family was unconditional. This unconditional love will remain in the hearts of his wife of fifty-five years, Mayeotis; two daughters, Rosalind (Henry) of Atlanta; Debra Ticey (T.J.) of Eagan, MN; grandchildren, Terry Ticey, Jeremy Ticey, Henry Drakeford V, Grant Drakeford, and Rachel Drakeford, his sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Taylor graduated from Marvell High School and attended University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. His many passions included singing, photography, landscaping, walking, and sports. He was a soloist for both Shiloh Baptist Church, Waukegan, Illinois and Elizabeth Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia. A big fan of sports, he was thrilled to have four grandsons and would travel many miles to see their tennis, football, track and baseball events. He also learned that dance was a sport and took his granddaughter to dance lessons every day after he picked her up from school. A public viewing will be held on Friday, October 25th from 3-9 p.m. at Murray Brothers Funeral Home, 1199 Utoy Springs Rd., S.W., Atlanta, GA 30331. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 10 am at Elizabeth Baptist Church, 4245 Cascade Road, Atlanta, GA. Instate 9 am. Family and friends are asked to assemble at church started at 9 am. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia.

How shocked and sadden were we to hear of his passing. Kindly accept our thoughts of sympathy at your loss. When we lose someone we love and the loss sometimes seems too great to bear; God sends us friends and family to comfort us to show that He deeply cares.
