Rocky was also active in the Construction Specification Institute and was elected a Fellow of CSI in 1964. He earned CSI's National President's Plaque in 1963 and 1965. The two most prestigious honors Rocky received were the 1973 Kemper Award and the establishment of the Bernard B. Rothschild Award in 1981. The Rothschild Medal is awarded periodically by the Georgia AIA for outstanding achievements within the profession. As President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute, I wish to express our heartfelt sympathies to the Rothschild Family on the lost of "Rocky". He was at the core of the Atlanta Chapter CSI and will be missed.

God bless Rocky. He called me this spring to congratulate me on my AIA Fellowship. Rocky was dedicated to improving the design/construction industry and the profession of architecture. A man who was outspoken and as much a friend to those he disagreed with as those he did.

We as a profession and as individuals are better off because of knowing Rocky and we will miss him. My prayers today are with the family and our dear friend Rocky.
