REICHARD, Claire Marie Claire Marie Reichard, 84, of Decatur, GA, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 26, 2018 surrounded by her loving family while praying the rosary. Born in Nashua, NH, on March 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Adelard Joseph Aubut and Marie Bernadette (Girouard) Aubut. She was raised in Nashua, NH and graduated from Saint Louis High School with the Class of 1952. While in high school, she was active on the basketball and debate teams. Claire attended Rivier University in Nashua, NH and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology in 1957. She became a medical technologist. In 1957 she married John Mohr Reichard, Jr. She relocated to Atlanta, GA in 1964 where she happily raised her four children. She loved her grandchildren who referred to her as Grand-mere (French for Grandma). She enjoyed teaching them how to pray, cook, use good manners, and to laugh. Most important in her life was her devotion to God, Family and Country. She cared deeply for her community and she was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved the beach and spent the summers at her beach house in Maine. She always had a kind and encouraging word for everyone she met. Claire attended St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic Church in Atlanta ,GA and St. Francis de Sales Traditional Catholic Church in Mableton, GA. Claire is survived by her four children, Daniel Reichard and his wife Linda of Lawrenceville, GA, Lisa Reichard Marks and her husband Bryan of Roswell, GA, John Reichard and his wife Carolyn of Brookline, NH and James Reichard and his wife Theresa of Alpharetta, GA; and eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Joseph, Malisa, Sydney, Marie, Isabella, Jack and Genevieve as well as many extended family members and dear friends. A Wake will be held from 6-8PM with a rosary at 8PM on Wednesday, August 1st, at Roswell Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in memory of Claire on Thursday, August 2nd at 11:00 a.m., at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Mableton, GA.
