1968 - 2018

JORDAN, Darryl A gifted, creative and compassionate son of our Christian God entered the true kingdom of heaven, April 27, 2018. Darryl Patton Jordan was born June 13, 1968 in Smyrna Georgia. He graduated from Roswell High School in 1986. He was also honored to be graduated from the University of Georgia in 1990. He, in addition, earned a M.A. Degree from Georgia State University in 1996. Darryl had a special skill to work with little children. He had a wonderful calling to teach Seniors how to use their electronic devices. He owned his own company, Accurate Title Services, and Jordan Business Advisors. His three great loves were: Lake Junaluska, North Carolina, The Georgia Bulldogs, and Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, GA. He loved people and engaged them anywhere and everywhere. He is survived by his parents, Reverend Don and Mary Jordan of Roswell, GA; brother, Wesley Jordan of Roswell; sister and brother-in-law, Devinney Ballard and Bob Ballard of Canton, GA; niece, Jordan Ballard; nephew, Devin Ballard of Canton, GA. His Memorial Service is Friday, May 4, at 2:00 pm at Peachtree Presbyterian Church with Dr. Dan McCall and Rev. Jay Madden officiating. A reception will follow. There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 3 at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. To know him was to love him. Darryl lived like a person prepared to die and died like a person ready to live. Praise God for the great life of Darryl P. Jordan.
