Dear Mopsy:
News travels slowly to me; I just heard about Doug last week .My heart broke a bit and memories of our times together at Westminster have been circling around my thoughts ever since. Many of them have included Doug somewhere in the picture, always with a large smile on his face to go with his constant kind and calm demeanor. He is truly missed.
My hope for you is that your sadness will be eventually replaced with joyful gratitude of the times you both shared together.
To quote Dr. Seuss: " Don´t cry because it´s over, smile because it happened."
Take special care of yourself now.
With love,
Rob

Hi Mopsy, I don't what to say! I just found out today about Doug's passing. That weekend of August 6, Linda was hospitalized for having multiple seizures and came back home on the 8th. The next several weeks, I focused mainly on her recovery and she is doing better now. I'm not sure how the news about Doug slipped right by me. I have special memories of both you and Doug. He had a very fulfilling life but still feel like he was taken from us too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family especially during this Christmas season.
Love and best wishes,
Joe

Dear Mopsy, you and your family are in my prayers as you go through the loss of Doug. I always enjoyed seeing you both in Highlands and getting a chance to chat. Doug was always smiling and seemed so happy just strollling about town. My deepest sympathy at your loss.
