Clarence, Joyce and I send our heartfelt wishes for the family. Judy sent me the news. Florrie was a DH44 classmate and I lived just around the corner on Briarcliff when she was on Cameron Court. She was the first class cheerleader for DHHS. -- and a peanut of a gal. I can still see her in that pinnafore. We last saw you both at the 50th DHHS reunion.

Laura:
Jane West told me of your Mother's passing. I remember her sweet demeanor and pleasant smile. You have many of her qualities, be proud to carry her legacy. May her memory be eternal.

Seeing that good picture of Mrs. Irwin makes me sad and sentimental. She looked beautiful all the time! Nancy and I have been very good friends since college, and Mr. and Mrs. Irwin have always treated me as a dear friend also. I send my condolences to the family. Mrs. Irwin will be greatly missed by many, includng myself!

Mary, words can not possibly describe how wonderful you, and your family were to your Mother. I don't see how anyone could ever hope for more in their final days. I'm both lifted, for having you as a friend, and saddened by your loss. God bless both you, and your family during this difficult time.

Bill and I are shocked and sad to hear that Florrie has died. She was such a wonderful woman and I have such fond memories of her from summers at East Lake swimming pool and many other times. It was always a joy to be with Florrie and Clarence. We send our deepest sympathy to Clarence and their daughters.
