James Peatross Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

James Thomas "Pete" Peatross, III, age 47 passed away on November 14, 2004 after a seven year battle with colon cancer. Pete, born and raised in Jackson, MS, was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, and lived in Lilburn for the last 15 years. He enjoyed a successful career as an architectural sales rep with Arriscraft International. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sharon Phillips Peatross, their daughters, Jenna Lea, 14 and Ally Elizabeth, 10, father, Mr. J.T. Peatross, Jr. of Jackson, MS; sister, Debi Long and niece Brittany Long, of Houston, TX; brother, Edward Peatross of Jackson, MS; and best friend Billy Browne of Jackson, MS. Pete was a warm and loving husband, caring and giving father and unbelievably loyal friend. He was blessed with many loving friends who supported him throughout his illness and surrounded his family with care. Pete was well respected and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Mountain Park Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
