I did not know the Warners personally but met them several times at art sales at their home. We had read Jack Warner's columns for years and were amazed that he was also a talented Potter and wood turner. He was indeed gruff and Donna was always lovely. I think I found an address and wrote him a note after I read Shikar. What a talented and interesting man.

He remains my favorite curmudgeon. I was stunned to read that he never attended college, as he was one of the most learned people I had ever met.
His was certainly a life fully and richly lived.

Jack taught me so much when we both worked at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He was a hard-hitting journalist for sure, but also a true gentleman. I will always remember our last conversation about Royal Bengal Tigers. I will miss you, Jack. Very much. My deepest condolences to the Warner family. Moni

Deepest Sympathy to the Warner family. New Jack during his potting days, and I considered him a good friend.

Offering my deepest sympathy to the Warner family. When someone we love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Therefore, treasure the special times spent with your loved one-draw strength from the love of family and friends-and may God's word and his loyal love comfort you and help you through this difficult time. Psalm 119:50,76
