When I am dead, my dearest

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.

MAY THE PEACE WHICH COMES FROM THE MEMORIES OF LOVE SHARED,COMFORT YOU IN THE DAYS AHEAD.(IT WILL BE THE LITTLE THINGS YOU REMEMBER,THE QUIET MOMENTS,THE SMILES,THE LAUGHTER.AND ALTHOUGH IT MAY SEEM HARD RIGHT NOW,IT WILL BE THE MEMORIES OF THESE LITTLE THINGS THAT HELP PUSH AWAY THE PAIN AND BRING THE SMILES BACK AGAIN.

Weeping may endure for a night,but joy cometh in the morning.(Psalm 30:5)

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
