Mary Purcell Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

Mary Purcell, 86, of Fayetteville, GA, died November 8, 2006. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She retired in 1985 as an Administrative Secretary with the Social Security Administration Regional Office. She was a 20 year member of Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Purcell. She is survived by daughters, Margaret and James Conley of Fayetteville, Linda and Mike Hutchison of Hendersonville, TN, Marilyn and Fred Staats of Hendersonville, TN and Donna and David Patrick of Chattanooga, TN; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Brad Blanton and Pastor Norman Pyle, officiating. The body will lie instate at 10:00 AM. Interment Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bible Baptist Church Mission Fund, (2780 Mt. Carmel Rd., Hampton, GA 30228) to aid a missions project in India of one of Mrs. Purcell's grandchildren.
