Family-Placed Death Notice
MARTIN, Millard Homegoing Service for Mr. Millard Earl Martin, of Fayetteville, Ga. will be held Monday June 15, 2009 at 1:00pm at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 5222 Koweta Rd., College Park, Ga. with Pastor Donald L. Cantrell; Officiating. Remains will lie in repose from 11:00 am til the hour of service. Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Queen Esther Smith; his father, Mr. and Mrs. Millard Martin, Sr.; sister, Tracy Walton; step-sister, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmont; nieces, Cynthia Walton, Kelsey and Tori Johnson, a special friend Ms. Richelle Goar and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 120 Southwood Court, Fayetteville Ga. at 12:00 noon. Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home, Inc. 404 768-2993-4

May God continue to strenghthen you through this most difficult time. I was one of Earl's middle school teachers and I will always remember the pleasant young man who was quiet in stature but strong in spirit. He will be missed.

To Queen and Tracy,
My heart and prayers go out to you at this time. I had the honor of watching Earl grow up from a young boy to an outstanding young man. I even had the oppurtunity of coaching of him when he played football in high school. I was so shocked to hear the news. I can remember when Earl would dribble his basketball everywhere he went when he was younger. Those memories I will keep close to me as a friend and a coach. Take care and God bless.

This is daesia and im truley sorry for the pain you have to go through. No one should have to go through this, but god will be with you through the whole journey. Everyone thing will be okay, god makes no mistakes and i truly believe everything happens for a reason. Maybe this tradegy from god is meant to strengthen you and make you and your family bond even stronger. I personally think that everything will be okay. I hope in your heart and mind you are okay. I know you don't want to express how you feel about this situation but its ok. Just know that god will be with you the whole way, and earl is looking over you and watching you. This day was the day that I wasn't prepared for....God used you as a vision for me to open up and recognize him first. You were truly a gift from God. I watched you grow up, something like a little brother to me. All the kickball and baseball memories on Middleburg Drive...no doubt so many other memories.
