Richard HICKS Obituary

HICKS, Richard C. Richard C. (Dick) Hicks, 80, died peacefully Thursday, April 7, at Hospice of Southwest Ohio in Madeira. Born July 12, 1935, to parents Lyle and Audrey (Ernisse) Hicks in Rochester, NY, he was married to wife Sue for over 58 years. Father of son, Richard Hicks of Columbus, OH, and daughter, Leslie (Tom) Davlin of Liberty Twp., OH, he is also survived by sister Cheryl (Tom) Tomasi of Englewood, FL, and was the brother of Robert (Bobby) Hicks of Camarillo, CA (deceased). Also surviving are granddaughters, Jessica Davlin, Sarah Davlin and Colleen Hicks; grandson Ryan (Caitlin) Hicks; and many loving nieces and nephews. A 43-year employee of the GE Capital Corporation, he was an avid golfer and a loving advocate for homeless and abandoned small dogs. Contributions in his memory can be made to Furkids Dog Shelter, 1520 Union Hill Rd., Alpharetta, GA, 30005, or Hospices of Southwest Ohio, 7625 Camargo Rd., Cincinnati, OH, 45243.
