Homegoing Services for Mr. Robert Lee "Boot" Amey, Sr. of 801 Atlantic St., Manchester, GA will be held Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Springfield Baptist Church, 1490 N. Hwy. 155, McDonough, GA. Rev. Dr. A.C. O'Neal officiating with remains placed in repose at 11:00 AM. Interment, Rose Garden Cemetery. Boot leaves to mourn his loving wife, Amelia Amey, his dedicated children, Robert Lee Amey, Jr. (Annette), Schemeka Bailey (Jimmy); three step-children, Angelia and Johnny Lowe and Jacqueline "Louise" Hambrick and a host of grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry Amey, Jr., Rev. Larry Amey (Wilma) and Harold Amey (Ruby); four sisters; Faristine Satterwhite (Stephen), Frances Bradley, Crettie Holcomb (Curtis) and Marilyn "Rita" Amey; sister-in-law, Daisy (Bill) Amey, one uncle and two aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 4169 Durham Circle, Stone Mountain, GA at 12:00 Noon. Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home, Inc. 404-768-2993-4.
