CHURCH, Ruby Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Ruby N. Church of Atlanta, Monday, March 29, 2010 at 12:00 NOON; Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 388 Glenn St., SW (404) 521-1271. Rev B. J. Johnson officiating. Remains in state 11:00 a.m. Cortege assemble 11:00 a.m. at the residence. Interment, Lincoln. Ruby is preceded in death by her sister, Ernestine; she leaves to celebrate her arrival to Glory one beloved son, whom Ruby adores and loved so much, Bruce "Comedian Bruce Bruce" Church; sister, Flora Grace Henson; brother, Archie Lee Church; four grandchildren, Antwan Lamar Church, Archie Lee Church, Branten Church, and Sekeitha (Travis) Manigan; six great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Mother's are truly special and Ms. Ruby was no exception. She was not only a mother in your family, but I felt as if she was my own mother - and I loved and cared for her as such. She certainly treated me like I was in the family, and I will always remember her generosity, kindness, welcoming spirit, and graciousness. I will miss her dearly as I know you will.
As you share the stories and memories of how Ms. Ruby lived her life and how very much she meant - I pray God's comfort and peace upon you.
