I am so sorry to read this. I was a high school friend of Corey's. I was just trying to see if he was on FB. Corey - if you are on - I would love to catch up! My deepest sympathies for your loss.

Dear Alan,
I learned last night from Sandy and Chester Morris that Sue died. I was so glad when at last I found you in Georgia. Upon your move all my cards and notes had been returned to me. I remenber so many good times from that first day we met having our homes in our first apartments. We had wonderful times together. I remember those days as I pass your Old Granada home rather frequently.
I know all to well what it means to live without one's partner. You and Sue were fortunate to have had almost 50 year together. May your children and grandchildren bring you comfort.
With deepest sympathy, Herta Holly

TO THE SERRINS FAMILY

WE WERE VERY SADDENED TO HEAR ABOUT SUE. ALTHOUGH IT HAS BEEN YEARS SINCE WE HAVE SEEN HER, SHE REMAINS IN MY MEMORY DURING THE "GOOD OLD DAYS" WHEN WE PLAYED TENNIS TOGETHER AND WERE IN EACH OTHERS LIVES EITHER THROUGH MUTUAL FRIENDS OR THE CHILDREN. I REMEMMBER HER CAUSTIC AND TO THE POINT VERBAL PRONOUNCEMENTS AND HER MEAN CROSS COURT RETURN OF SERVE. I HEARD THAT ALL HER FAMILY WAS WITH HER IN THE END, AND THAT IS WHAT SHE LIVED FOR MOST--LOVE OF FAMILY. OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU PHYLLIS AND RICHARD SANDROW

Alan:
I realize we have not seen each other for probably three decades. But despite the long time, both you and Sue have been in my thoughts. I look back on my younger years and have you and Sue to thank for helping take care of me. You both were always there for me, always. You both have always been such special individuals in my life: always there for me when I was younger. No one truly comphrehends the loss that you feel, the sadness that you must be going through. And yet, my warm thoughts are reaching out to you in hopes that you will know the strength and comfort that I wish for you. I am so very sorry for the loss of Sue. I know your heart is heavy but my prayers and thoughts are with you during this extremely difficult time. Please send my love and prayers to Kathy, Robbie, Corey, Nancy and their families.
With sympathy and understanding,
Brian Glatzer
