Woody and I were best buddies in the late 50's and 60's. He was one of the most creative people I have ever known. We had just re-encountered each other a couple of weeks earlier and were planning to have lunch together.

Woody was so special to me. After working on the Olympics, he was the first designer that I freelanced for. He was so good to me and was so fun. I will always cherish the great times that we had together and his infectious lover of life. Farewell my dear friend.

Woody was one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of working for. He always had something funny to say, and you knew you wouldn't be hungry as it was gourmet cuisine! His kindness and graciousness went way beyond the job. Thoughts and prayers for your family, you will be missed.

To The Brooks Family:

It is often with great sadness that we say goodbye to a loved one in death. We know that at some point in our lives this can happen, but we're never prepared for when it does. We can find comfort in the words at Hosea 13:14. I offer my deepest condolences to you at this difficult time.

Woody was one of the funniest, most artistic, most humane and beautiful friends anyone could ever have. Those memories of laughter, criticizing social and political hypocrites, good jokes and just seeing what else he could create kept us busy on many an occasion and will do so in the future. Our regards to Kitty, Allen and the little ones. Woody, we will never forget you.

Woody and I were buddies back in the late 50's and created a lot of mischief together. We had just reconnected and planned to have lunch together. This breaks my heart.
