AUBURN - Cheryl L. Haff, 71, of Auburn, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Charlotte Wooldridge Bunnell.
The pride and joy of her life were her grandchildren, who will carry on her legacy of love. Cheryl cared for numerous children over the years operating her own daycare. She was a leader in the Brownies and Girls Scouts, and taught religious education classes at Holy Family Church for many years. Cheryl loved to travel to the Adirondacks to enjoy spending time with her family, and she also loved to cook and bake.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Richard Haff; sons, Christopher Haff, Robert (Barbara) Haff, Todd (Beth) Haff, Dana (Joanne) Haff, and James (Rebecca) Haff; daughter, Gretchen (Martin) Gilmore; 16 grandchildren; brother, John Bunnell; sisters, Susan (William) Lawton, and Pamela (Steven) Byrne; sister-in-law, Mary Bunnell; and several loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl was predeceased by her brother, Garald "Gary" Bunnell.
Services will be held at the convenience of family.
