Kyle Ulrich Obituary

Kyle L. Ulrich, 62, of Polk City, Florida and Weedsport, NY lost his courageous battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2024

Kyle was born May 19, 1961 in Newark, NY. He attended Newark HS and proudly earned his GED later in life. Kyle loved working with kids and volunteered in his community as a camp counselor, coach and staff member at the Alex Eligh Community Center. He worked in factories most of his adult life along with working at several local race tracks where he met his wife Pam. He loved all sports, but his passion was truly dirt stock car racing. In 2022 he and his wife became "snowbirds" and expanded his circle of friends in Florida. He loved to walk, play cornhole, bingo and travel with his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Pamela Treat-Ulrich, Sisters Kathy Ulrich and Kristy (Mark) Hughson, Brother Kevin Ulrich, Niece Kelly Carlin, Nephews Matt Carlin and Ricky Hughson along with several great nieces and nephew.

He was predeceased by his Father Thomas Ulrich, Mother Joann Ulrich (Step-Father Mike Misleany), maternal Grandmother Florence O'Neil, Sister Karen (Ulrich) Carlin, Nephew and Niece Ryan and Kaleigh Hughson and his In-Laws Carol and Jerry Treat.

Services in Florida will be held at the convenience of the family and a Celebration of Life home in NY will be planned for later in the spring.

So sorry for your loss! I remember Rob (Monk) and Kyle ribbing each other at Weedsport Racetrack. Rob passed 1/11/23, I'm sure they are ribbing each other up there!

Sorry for your loss. I haven´t seen Kyle in many years but I remember him as always being happy with a smile on his face. A huge dirt racing fan. We had many fun times at the races and the rides to and from the races. RIP Kyle

I did not know Kyle well, but whenever I saw him he was always friendly, warm and happy. He and Pam were welcome additions to our Florida family, and everyone knew if you needed help, Kyle would come. He is missed by all.
