Margaret Haggerty Obituary

Margaret "Peggy Bronson" Haggerty, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025 in Glendale, AZ at the age of 80. Born in Auburn, NY on May 19, 1945 to Mary and Alfred Bronson, Peggy grew up in Auburn before moving her family to Arizona, driven by her love of sunshine and warm weather.

Peggy was known for her quick wit, charming personality, and remarkable sense of humor. She had a gift for making others laugh and lift the spirits of those around her. Fiercely protective of the people she loved, she never hesitated to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.

She enjoyed playing bingo and the slots, cherished time spent with family, and approached every challenge including her battle with cancer with courage, humor, and grace. Peggy's warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Peggy is survived by her brother, Kenneth Bronson; her daughters Christine Griffiths, Kathy Jumper, Jennifer Haggerty, and Debbie (Steven) Williams; and her grandchildren Amanda (Daniel) Barnes, Brenton Griffiths, Devin Haggerty, Kayla Williams; and her great-grandchildren Levi Cordova and Rory Barnes.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Alfred Bronson; her husband, Paul Haggerty; and her grandson, Gavin Haggerty.

Peggy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all whose lives she touched.

Peg was a ''GEM'' whose glass of H20 was always half full....We were sitting in her station wagon listening to tunes when they announced Elvis passed....She left Auburn and headed to AZ and I to the Virgin Islands....Went out to visit her and picked up where we left off ...panning for gold .... we always found fun things to do....I think of you often Peg ....! Your Mom was a kind and thoughtful lady girls and I know her legacy to you will be remembered thru to your kids. Rest in Peace dear friend....

Kenny and family,
It has been many years, but I remember Peggy and she was truly a very nice person. I remember her
beautiful smile. There really are no words when someone loses a loved one. Keep all the wonderful memories close to your heart.
I am very sorry for your loss.
