Henry Chance Obituary
Augusta, GA—Henry Lee Chance Sr., 65, entered into rest on February 23, 2021.
Mr. Chance was a Boatswains Mate Petty Officer 3rd Class while serving in the United States Navy. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, an avid dart player and enjoyed looking for arrowheads. Mr. Chance was the Former Owner of C and C Drywall Inc. He was a well-liked person, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to a person in need. Mr. Chance had 4 Bully Pits that he adored. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Mr. Chance is preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Chance. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Sharon Chance; children, Henry Lee Chance Jr. and Jason Lloyd Chance (Angeline); brothers, James Chance (Francis) and David Chance; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will miss Mr. Chance dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 11am in the Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Road Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity pertaining to animals.

Henry "Pops", it's so hard to believe that you are gone. You brought smiles to so many peoples face. You were definitely one of a kind. I will miss you dearly. Thank you so much for being the wonderful friend that u were to myself and to many others. Without you, I don't know where I would have ended up. You will forever be in my heart. I pray for Sharon and your four furry children, that they will have the strength to get through these hard times without you. May you rest in peace. Love you mean it.

Although I haven't seen Henry in a long time my heart hurts knowing he is no longer with us on this Earth. We will all look forward to seeing him in Heaven. May God bless your family.

Praying for your family. Heny was a man of many facets husband, son, father, brothet and friend, mentor and so many more. After meeting him through his son Lee when we were barely out of school. Over tge years he taught me many things about life, work, the outdoors, lessons that will never be forgot. Heny will be deeply missed by many.
