James Corley

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. James Henry Corley, 85, husband of the late Georgia Lever Corley, entered into rest Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Trinity Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Reverend Greg Bentley officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Corley was born in Augusta, GA to the late Lucious and Lily Chavous Corley. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, American Legion Post 205 and was a retired plumber.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Dean Corley, and by his daughter, Charlene Corley Hensley.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Corley Baker and her husband, Scott, of Lincolnton, and JoAnn Corley Pendrey and her husband, Gale, of Augusta; his sons James Tony Corley and his wife, Melinda, Jerry L. Corley and his wife, Connie, Tommy G. Corley and his wife, Gail, and Charles W. Corley and his wife, Diane, all of Augusta; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Corley, Brent Corley, Jamie Corley, Ryan Corley, Scotty Corley, and Eric Johnson.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
