HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Sandra Jean Bugg, 64, of Hephzibah, GA, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at her residence. Born in Waynesboro, GA, she was the daughter of the late Elwood Rabun, Sr. and Vera Collins Rabun. She had lived in Hephzibah for the past twenty-five years. She retired from Solvay Advanced Polymers as a maintenance secretary and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Allen Bugg; sons, Timothy Michael (Robin) Rabun, Augusta, GA, Dwayne Culbreth, Hephzibah, GA; daughters, Tonya McDade, Jenny Lowe, both of Hephzibah, GA, Lisa (Kenny) Joy, West Palm Beach, FL; brothers, Hammond Rabun, Elwood (Sherry) Rabun, Jr.; sister, Teresa Whisnant; grandchildren, Blake, Savannah, Tanner, Kaleb, Tracey, Chase, K.J.; great grandchildren, Ariana, Chloe, and her pet, Tashie. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 1pm at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Joyner and Pastor Skip Braswell officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 3-5pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
