NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Scott "Scotty" Craig, 35, of North Augusta, SC, beloved husband of Sandie Moore Craig, died Saturday, January 22nd, 2011, doing what he enjoyed the best, fishing. Born in Augusta, GA and a resident of Langley, SC, all of his life, he was a son of Rayford T. and Terri Williams Craig, Langley, SC. He was a graduate of Midland Valley High School and for the last three years he was an Operator with Michelin Tire, Lexington, SC, a job that he truly loved. He attended Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church. Scotty enjoyed riding his Harley Super Glide and was a member of H. O. G. Scotty loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, Madilynn and Leigha Craig. In addition to his wife, parents and grandchildren, he is survived by a son, Justin Scott Craig, (Ashley) Langley, SC; daughter, Summer Pica, North Augusta, SC; brothers, Johnnie Lamar Campbell, Langley, SC and Nick Craig, Aiken, SC; a cousin, Jamie Hodges, who was more like a brother and was also his best friend, grandparents, Pete Craig, (the late Juanita) Langley, SC, the late Gene and James Ott and Lyle Williams, four nephews as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, a sister in-law, Tina Moore and his in laws. Scotty was expecting his third grandchild in September. The family would like to say a special (Thank You) to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources for the help they provided, especially Lead Investigator Ben Thomas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, February 24th, 2011, at 2 o'clock at Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church, Bath, SC, with Pastor Bill Branch officiating. Interment will be private. Pallbearers will be Jamie Hodges, Chris Martin, Raymond Cowan, Tommy Taylor, Paul Steele, Danny Carroll, Wade Baker, Rob Bush, Orie and Raymond Turner. Friends may call at the home of Rayford and Terri Craig. Please contact the family for information on memorial contributions. Visit www.HatcherFuneralHome.com to share memories of Scotty.
