Coach,friend,mentor,scholar to many although we will miss you and our hearts are sadden you will forever be in our hearts.The Lord Giveth And The Lord Taketh Away But He Never Take Away More Than He Left.Therefore the memories he has left me and others will forever be in our hearts. You have always been a Champion in my eyes for the studens/student athletes and sometimes on earth you win and you lose. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER MR. FREEMAN AS " PROF ". I CHOSE MR. FREEMAN AS MY STAR TEACHER WHEN I WAS STAR STUDENT IN 1973 AT WADLEY HIGH SCHOOL. HE WAS A GREAT MAN, FRIEND , AND TEACHER.I HOPE GOD WILL BLESS AND UPLIFT ALL HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS DURING THIS TIME. JEFFERSON COUNTY LOST ANOTHER GOOD ONE.

We will remember "Prop" in his dashing Prom tuxedos, with his inspiring and funny speech at each new school year, his unique negotiating skills with unruly students and their teachers, and the way he would stand in the middle of the commons area to direct traffic. He was one of a kind and we were proud to be on his team. He will be missed.
