I first met Albert in the early seventies through my best friend, his brother Armando.

I remember the day that Albert had come to a service at the church that Armando and I were attending in the late seventies. I remember that, at the end of the service, when an altar call was given, Albert went down to the altar to pray. This event is forever burned into my memory.

The last time I saw Albert was at Armando's funeral.

Since then, I have lost touch with the rest of the family.

Albert was, without a doubt, the most soft spoken and polite person I have ever met or known. In my humble opinion, the world would benefit greatly if there were more people in it like Albert.

My sincerest prayers for all of Albert's family and friends. I am one of his peers from Lakersground.net (LG). He was a well liked and respected member. Although it may be hard to comprehend the quality of online relationships, please know that members from the site from around the world mourn with you.

May Our Wonderful Lord, the God of Peace, Love, Healing and Comfort embrace you all during this time.

Dear Alvarado Family,

Another leaf has fallen from the Diaz family tree. Although new leaves will be added to the tree with the passing of time, Albert's leaf can never be replaced. I hope Albert is in a peaceful place and reunited with his father, brother and all the other family members who have gone ahead to greet him.

Love and blessings from your cousin,

Stephen Penrose

To the brother-in-law I never met, God bless and rest in peace. I enjoyed our conversations on the phone but time and space conspired against us meeting. Your passing was far to soon and you will be missed by all that are left behind. We are on this earth but for a second in time but our spirits live on forever. We will meet in a better place.

Albert, even though you liked your privacy and preferred to be alone, you were never truly alone. This is very evident from conversations I've had with many of your friends I've come in contact with since your passing. You were and are very loved by all in real life and by your extended internet family of LakersGround.net fans too. I've learned much more about you from the postings in there and from your co-workers who made it clear to us that you were so special to all of them. A dedicated friend and worker who stood for patient's rights, there are so many people who are missing you right now including me. I wish that I'd had a chance to see you again in person before you left us but know that your energy and spirit will continue to pass through our lives on a daily basis. We will all learn to live every day as if it's our last, thanks to you. Rest in peace now from this hectic and tortured life here on earth, dear brother. Until we meet again in Heaven, Albert, hope that you are still watching over all of us with Armando and Daddy by your side.

Lots of Love,
Your Sister,
Annabelle :)

I am sorry we did not spend more time together in the last years. You were my only older brother and all of us, your brothers and sisters, are left to remember you and to tell our children about the many things you stood for and accomplished. I know you are with Daddy and Armando now and finally having the Peace you needed.
"Go Lakers"!!
We will love and keep your memories here. your sister Alma
