Allan Neal Obituary

Neal, Allan Edward
Allan Edward Neal, age 42, left our lives all to soon, Sat., April 24, 2010. There is now an enormous hole in our hearts. His laugh, sparkling blue eyes, generous spirit, and deep love for all of his family will be missed. He was born on March 15, 1968 in Phx., AZ to Tom and Meredith Neal, who survive him. His wife Jennifer was his life and children Tommy and Elora, were his entire world and a constant source of pride. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his sister, Leslie Neal Cronk (Chris), two nephews and a niece, (Cody, Bryce, and Camille) and an uncle (Sonny). His generous giving nature was given to a wide variety of friends. He graduated from ASU with a degree in Theatre Arts, which led to his latest accomplishment as Technical Director for the Performing Arts Department at Glendale Community College; an occupation he had been striving for. Goodbyes can be given to Allan at a viewing at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phx., AZ, on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 5 - 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Orangewood Presbyterian Church, 7321 N. 10th St., Phx., AZ, at 10:00 a.m. There is a Memorial Fund established at Altier Credit Union to assist the family in Jennifer Neal's name and Scholarship Funds for the children in Tommy Neal and Elora Neal's name at Wells Fargo Bank in lieu of flowers.

If only Allan; I had gotten to you sooner, been able to bring you back, you hadn't been taken away from us way too soon, were able to talk and laugh with me as only you could and make me feel ever so much better, know how much I truly do miss you (not a day goes by that I don't think about you in some way), you knew how well your children are growing and developing into wonderful young people, your Jenn is doing very well and is a wonderful mom as you knew she would be, you knew how much we all really need you in so many ways. We are all going along okay, but not as well without you. Love you more than you can ever have known.

I just want to say what a shock it is to find out about Allan's passing. He was a great friend during my childhood in Phoenix. I still remember the great times we had playing soccer and just being kids. To his family my prayers and best wishes for the future.

Allan was an amazing person and we so helpful at GCC. He helped me figure out what I was gonna do about the saw hourse that I had to make and told me to stand up for myself. Not to let Directors push me around and I thank him for that. He is dearly missed.

I was completely shocked when I was told today of Allan's passing. I used to sing with him in Phoenix College Chamber Singers and choir, and I remember him fondly as part of some of the most fun years of my life. He was always an upbeat, positive, person who was full of life when I knew him.

My heart goes out to his family and friends during this difficult time. I hope those who were close to him are able to find peace and comfort in their hearts in time.

It has been many years since "The Flowers" (an all male soccer team)and their state championship tour. I loved everyone of those guys like my brother, but I have very special, fond memories of Allan and his warm smile, and gentle nature. He always seemed to be smiling from the inside as well. I have thought about him often! I will miss you Allen!
To his family-I pray for strength and comfort for you at this difficult time in your life. God Bless

Me, with the two best friends I had in Phoenix.

My good friend Allan, We had some good times, camping, 4 wheeling, working together, annoying each other from time to time, but that's what made us close friends, we tolerated it, moved on and laughed about things later. I saw a very kind, patient loving person in him, loved his family greatly, paitient with about everything ever accomplished. I'm going to miss the talks, hangin out, just him overall, he was a great friend to have. Allan, you will be sorely missed, and will never be forgotten. Jenn, i am here for you and the kids with assistance if needed. Love ya all, T.J.
