I met Brandon through a friend about 11 years ago. Though I only knew Brandon for a short time I remember him as kind hearted, sincere, and comical. Brandon was someone special. Him, and his family have always been in my prayers, and will continue to be. I’m glad that he found love, and happiness in his short time on earth. God Bless.

I didn't know you well. What I did know of you personally, I admired. What I learned about you from the hours of conversations with Lisa, I learned to think highly of you. I was yet another one of Brandon's friends. What a guy! Being Lisa's best friend i saw all the light he brought to her and i knew that he deserved her. I never thought a guy could deserve my best friend. I want to thank Brandons mom and dad for having raised such a wonderful man. Brandon and Lisa spent a lot of time with my boyfriend and I in Las Vegas. 3 words...What a Blast!! What a great guy. I can't wait to see you with my best friend in Heaven.

I didn't know Brandon, but have worked some with his father Bob at Motorola. In reading this guestbook, it's quite obvious that Brandon was loved and he touched many lives in his short time on Earth. I can't imagine how painful it must be to lose a child. As hard as it is to understand right now, he is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Brandon's friends and family, as well as to Lisa's friends and family. May they rest in peace together. God bless you all.

After reading all the things that people have said here I am somehow comforted in the fact that Brandon had such an effect on so many people in the short time he had in the world. He will forever be with me and watching me. Anything that could be said already has, but I would like to say that through this I have gained faith in something beyond this life. I went to high school with Brandon and had some classes with him. Although I was never good friends with him, I do remember his dancing and his humor. He always lit up the room. I also played on the soccer team with Jessica... my thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. I pray that God heals your pain and carries you all through this rough time.

I met you before you were a year old. I remember you playing with my boys, eating your mom's famous popcorn together in A.H., your cowboy Halloween costume, your battery operated car in T.O., playing dress-up, hiking in Mammoth together - those times are gone, but the memories will live on forever. My heart goes out to you all. As you know, my son, Garrett, was killed 9 years ago. I remember Brandon and Jessica coming to our dance rehearsals. They were such good kids to sit and play as quietly as they did. It is a consolation, I am sure, to you both for having raised such wonderful children. Although it has been a while since I last spoke with Brandon, I will always and forever remember him. Whenever I close my eyes I can see Brandon in our dance class at Coronado High wearing that face that he got when he was concentrating so hard on getting something just perfect. I feel very blessed to have been able to spend the time that I did with Brandon in high school. The Rumbaugh family is in my prayers.

The day I met Brandon Rumbaugh I will always remember, since it's not everyday that you see people on the side of the street acting goofy for the pure enjoyment of getting attention from people passing by. I will always remember Brandon for his goofiness and how he always had a smile on his face no matter what. Brandon you are loved and will always be missed by those who knew you.

When I saw the Picture of Brandon and Jeniffer on the news, I started to listen, I was so hurt by the whole thing! Brandon and I had alot of good times together in Hip Hop class at Dancentre for a few years! He was always the one to make you smile when you are down! I will miss him alot! Dear Rumbaugh Family-
I too went to Corondado with Brandon and also ASU while he was there. I had not spoken with him since we graduated until two days before the incident. We spent easily 10-15 minutes, just in passing, talking about whatever came to mind, and this was after never speaking for 2 years! Clearly, he was a great son and person, and I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers will be with you and may God yield his healing hand quickly to you.

My heart sank when I heard the news of Brandon over the television. I was a former school mate of his from when he attended Pima Elementary in Scottsdale and even at that young age he made such an impression on people. I later ran across him when we were in high school and I was dating his best friend who also went to Pima with us. He was a wonderful person with so much character, it is a shame that such a thing could happen to a great guy like Brandon. I did not know Brandon personally or even very well for that matter. I only know of him because he was in my Italian class. Even though we were never close friends, I just want to say he will be missed tremendously. He was always the one making everyone laugh, including our teacher. Rumbaugh family,
Brandon used to work at our Tanning salons my husband and I own. He always had a huge smile and a warm heart and my 5 year old son Nicholas idolized him. He even has a picture of Brandon and him in a frame in his room. When I told Nicholas Brandon is in heavan, he cried but said to me "I will see Brandon again someday, in heaven".

When I first met Brandon, he, Danny, and Tyler were dancing on the side of the road wearing layers of clothing and video taping those who slowed down to look at them. We stopped to say hi and ended up becoming neighbors and firiends to them. Brandon and I were "seeing" each other for a lil over a month, and I rember how great of a guy Brandon was. He always had a smile on his face. When i heard the news I was crushed. He and his family will be in my prayers forever. I will always remember the rose he gave me. We love you Brandon!

To Brandon's Family,
I went to Coronado and was in Brandon's graduating class. One of my favorite memories of him was the Mr. Coronado pagent in 2000. Brandon was a participant and worked so hard to help us raise funds for the March of Dimes. Anyone who was present at Mr. Coronado or any of the other productions he was in, will remember his talent and ability to make others smile. I always saw him as a kind and unique person. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

You can never be prepared for the unexpected or the hurt you feel when the unbelievable happens... I'm for a lost of words because I don't think anyone could ever describe how they truly feel when a loved ones life is taken away... I was fortunate to know Brandon by my sister introducing us... he was my first friend in Arizona and the first guy to ever let me know how much he truly cared... I was always touched by his kindness and love and always admired how he always took the worst of everything and made it into the best! He was not only a dreamer but an achiever... I will always remember Brandon as an affectionate, animated little boy having a blast running around and playing with his sister, Jessica, and my two children, Rebecca and Wesley, while Desiree and I were rehearsing for dance concerts, creating costumes, or working on choreography. Brandon always brought energy and fun to all he did. The twinkle in his eye, his charming smile, positive personality, quick wit, and loving energy were even more evident as he grew to be a young, handsome man. People couldn't help but adore him. He brought his special light to this world and will be greatly missed.
