Bridget Abrams Obituary
- - Bridget Eileen (Ryan) Abrams, born on May 21, 1933 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to the late Frances Ryan and the late Dean Ryan, passed away on May 14, 2018 in Sun City, Arizona. She was 84 years old. Bridget was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Bridget is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert; sons, Michael Abrams (Nancy), Shawn Abrams (Pam), and Mark Abrams; daughter, Kirstin Saxon (Richard) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Alberta Mills and Norah Plouffe, and is survived by brothers, Fr. Michael Ryan, Timothy Ryan (Barry Blackburn), and Daniel Ryan; and sisters, Sr. Frances Ryan, Maureen Sheehan, and Moya Haddad (Phil); and sister-in-law, Audrey Richardson; and brother-in-law, Gerry Plouffe.
Bridget always had a smile for everyone she met and a way of making people feel special, whether she had just met them or had known them all her life. Her positive attitude and welcoming demeanor will be missed by all who knew her. And Christmas Eve will never be the same. The annual gathering was her favorite and she made sure it was special for all of the family, friends and extended family that attended every year. She was an amazing woman in every way.
Private gatherings will be held in Sun City and Windsor, Ontario to celebrate her life.

So very sorry to read about the loss of your loved one, dear Bridget. She was the sweetest neighbor so many years ago when we were neighbors. I know her legacy will live on in her four beautiful children and their families.
