Charles Gilbert Obituary
79 - Charles W. Gilbert Jr., born in El Paso, TX on Feb 27, 1934, went to be with our Lord on Dec 21, 2013. He came to Phoenix, AZ at 3 months of age. He attended Roosevelt Elementary School. He graduated from Phoenix Union H.S. and Arizona State University graduating with a Business and Music degree. He then served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He retired from South Mountain Community College as a Computer Data Tech. He is survived by his wife Helen L. Gilbert, his daughter Susan G. Apel (Tracy), grandchildren Alyssa and Josh Apel and a great grandson, Jayden Kirchman. He is preceded in death by his wife Harriet H. Gilbert, father, Charles W. Gilbert Sr., and his mother, Josephine B. Gilbert. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
