Christopher Johnson Obituary
45, of Phoenix passed away on March 22, 2013. Chris had a passion for all sports but would want to be remembered as a Boxing Champion. Survived by Parents Charles & Catherine Johnson, sister, Kelli Lopez-Johnson, niece & nephew, Briana & Shawn Lopez-Johnson, brother-in-law, Javier Valenzuela & the rest of his AZ & NY family & friends. Services on Tuesday April 2nd at 3 PM at Scottsdale Bible Church Chapel, 7601 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale 85260. After service at Aunt Chilada's, Phoenix 85020. His family is asking that any donations you wish to make in his name be sent to a Youth Sports or Prevention Program to help support children who can't afford to participate in sports or need special services not covered by insurance.

I only knew him from Club Sar, but when came and talked with me he made me feel good like a close friend, never acting like he was better than anyone else.

Chris gave me a number of boxing lessons. He was so talented. I enjoyed seeing Chris and talking with him at the gym. He called me his Canadian friend. My condolences to his family and friends.
