Dear family,
Danny and i were football teammates at Durango high school in 97'. He stood out among the rest of use for his talent and character. We had talked quite often since we were both new transfers to Durango high school. He will be missed and i have thought about him often. Im very sorry.

I am so sorry for the recent passing of Danny from his earthly world to his heavenly world. I will always recall Danny's natural athletic ability when you guys lived in Long Beach. I am so saddened to hear that this has happened. Unfortunately, I haven't seen Danny in many years, but I sure have never forgotten him. We all have so many fond memories of Danny, and like many have said, you can't help but remember that beautiful smile of his. He was always so full of life. I prayer that all of you will find the comfort in knowing that Danny is in a safe place and is being taken care of. God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

I was Danny's sophomore English teacher when he moved to Durango. He was such a wonderful young man, and through the years I've thought of him often. When he said, "Yes, ma'am" it made me feel special...not old!

Even though I have not seen Danny since many years ago in middle school, every time his name was mentioned I think of that beautiful smile he had. He was a very sweet person and I hate that that tragedy took him from his family. I am sorry for the family's grief.
