David DeVille Obituary

DeVille, David M.
48 of Phoenix, AZ, passed away as a result of a tragic accident in Kauai, Hawaii on March 22, 2015, living his dream. David graduated from ASU and loved his time as member of the Arizona State Wrestling Team and eventually as its manager. An energetic and imaginative entrepreneur, he created a number of companies, the most recent and successful, Professional Loss, LLC, excelling as an Executive General Adjuster for insurance claims. He is survived by his loving wife, Blake Gwinn DeVille, whom he adored, and their horses and dogs (some of whom he adored), his mother, Patricia Wallace and brothers John and Dan DeVille in addition to his extended family and an amazing number of good friends. A celebration of his life was held on May 4 at the Franciscan Renewal Center. He is fondly remembered by everyone he touched in his life. Donations in his memory can be made to: ASU Wrestling, Attn: Zeke Jones, 500 E. Veterans Way, Tempe, AZ 85287.

Still miss David and his smiling face. I so enjoyed working for him. Retirement is bliss.

I was one of David's neighbors in Phoenix. He took his dog to the dog park in the complex regularly and I always enjoyed his smiling, positive attitude and insights. A certain loss for everyone he knew or touched in his life. Thank you for being a lovely neighbor David. You're a very good man.

My wife & I had the pleasure of working with Dave in the insurance industry for many years. We were blessed to have developed that into a friendship. There are no words to be said to express how sorry we were to hear of his passing. May your memories help you get through this difficult time.

What an amazing man David was. I only had the honor of meeting him recently, he was kind, funny, sweet and loved Blake deeply. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Much love to you Blake.
