Dennis Flachman Obituary
Phoenix - Dennis F. Flachman - born August 11, 1942 in Lincoln, NE. Passed away peacefully in Phoenix, AZ on November 5, 2018 at the age of 76, after a 10 year battle with cancer.
Survived by children Lori(Derek) Ferrell, Greg(Polly) Flachman, both of Phoenix; sisters Winifred Witmer of Sacramento, CA, Lynda Nichols of Phoenix, brother Richard(Joanie) Flachman of Sacramento, CA; Grandchildren Lacey(Jesse) Turley, Alyssa Flachman, Abby Ferrell, Hanna Flachman and Cole Ferrell; Great- grandson Kemp; Many cousins, nieces, and nephews; Ex-wife Ardie Flachman of Lincoln, NE. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Ruth Flachman, sisters Karel and Kay, and brothers Doug and Tom.
Dennis graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960. He was a Lincoln Firefighter, K&Z Distributing sales manager, and a Saturn car salesman before his retirement. He was a member of the Lincoln Sower's Club. He retired to the Phoenix area in 2003 where he enjoyed working part-time at Sprouts and rooting on all Phoenix area sports teams.
Friends and family will gather on Saturday, November 10th from 3:00-5:00pm at the home of Lori and Derek Ferrell, 7753 E. Calypso Ave in Fountain of the Sun in Mesa, AZ to celebrate his life.(Use entrance on 80th&Broadway) Please wear his favorite color-RED!!
Dennis chose to donate his body for research to Science Care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of the Valley, Friendship Village or your favorite charity.
