McClellan, Earl
Earl McClellan of Phoenix, Arizona peacefully passed away on September 16, 2017. Earl was born in Wise County, Virginia on November 7, 1939. He enjoyed a happy and active life with his family and friends. Earl was a hardworking, humble, loving friend and neighbor. He was an example of courage, strength, loyalty and integrity to many....a beloved husband, Father, and Grandpa. He touched many lives with his generous and loving heart. He is preceded in death by his parents: Earl McClellan and Sarah Kilgore McClellan; three brothers: Everette, Doyle and Leslie; and three sisters: Jean, Joyce and Elizabeth. Left to cherish his loving memories are his sister, Louverta; little sister/niece Brenda; two daughters: Pamela Hughes and Lori McClellan Scott; wife: Cathie Hanna-McClellan; two stepsons: Travis Hanna and Ben Hanna; and eight grandchildren: Matthew, Jessica, Meredith, Allison, Blake, O'Neil, Gwen and Amelia. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Desert Christian Fellowship Church, 1445 W. Northern Ave., Phoenix 85021. As a proud Marine, he will be laid to rest in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek, Phoenix 85024. "A great man on earth....a great warrior in heaven." In lieu of flowers, Earl would have been pleased if donations were made to Desert Christian Fellowship "Build-it-to-Bless" Fund (address above). Visit http://www.hansenmortuary.com for condolences.

There's no words to express the shock and sorrow.

Just know that my prayers are with you for the Peace The Passes Through All Understanding fills your heart from the hurt and loneliness you are going through.
