Gary, Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. The things we did as children. How you teased me relentlessly, and how I always told mother on you. I miss you, and will always carry you in my heart. Your loving sister, Susie.

Dear Gary, March 30, 2006

Yesterday we saw your rainbow looking down on us. Thanks. We will always remember our visits with you and Terry at Berlin, MA. Thanks for saying a kind word to us about our son, Steven. Thanks for making our lives richer. Love. Uncle Lee and Aunt Marion.

We call "Don't leave!", we want to weave
More time and tales with you..
It's much too soon, to climb the moon,
To glimpse the rainbow's hue.

But go you must, and we must trust
That paths again we'll share.
Go well, my friend, to Rainbow's End
Peace be with you there.

Gary,

You were the very few who understood Japanese corporate culture completely, and shed great light to all who struggled to build the synergy between the mix.

I often remember your kind advise, that helped my motivation going on. I will miss you greatly.

I've heard the sad news from Kaz. You often taught me many slangs & idioms, and I remember most of them. You weren't grumpy as you said yourself. Because I really miss you.

As we head for Bangor we think of Gary. "There's only three houses between here and there" (80 Miles)he would say when he came to visit. He did love to joke! "Did you hear about the man from Maine?" was what we'd hear often! We will miss that. His laugh, jokes, thoughtfulness, and friendship will always be with us! Thanks Gary for all the great times we shared! We will miss you!

We are thinking about you Terry!

Last week I was flying over Arizona. It reminded me the days I worked with Gary. Then, a little later I received a sad message. I am sad to think he is not there.

Gary was a great advisor to me, he helped me whenever I was in a difficult situation. Gary, I miss you.

Gary taught us how to get things done under pressure and maintain a sense of humor about it. He was the "Marlboro Man" with a bunny under his arm. I still see him clearly: tall, self assured, wise and yet humble, hysterically funny, and so amazingly tender and kind around animals. Wherever you are now, sir, they're damn lucky to have you. Happy trails... and deep respect.

It's not possible! Gary not raising rabbits and laughing (make that guffawing) at some dumb stunt I pulled? Can't be. As I sit here looking at my fabulous purple dice that you made Terry -- I think of all the smiles Gary gave us. I don't know how he did it, but he sure made me laugh at myself without any sting.

I will not soon forget his kindnesses to me. I can still remember my first meeting with him -- lots of people and lots to do. He was the one to thank me for my work. And that was about 15 years ago. He casts a long shadow.

I am sad to think he's not here, but I am so very grateful I had the privilege to know, work, and laugh with him.

Be well Terry.

Christine and I were very fortunate to have met and spent time with Gary. Right away it became obvious to me that he was a kind, generous and wise person. Being around him and seeing his value for life, friends and family made me a better person. It was a pleasure knowing Gary and we will miss him.
