Nevers, Gary N.
Gary was born on July 2nd, 1943 in Superior, Wisconsin. He lost his brave battle with cancer on October 1st, 2011. He was a tradesman by profession and worked in the valley since 1980. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Susan, and family of Arizona daughter, Gina, son Fred (Lisa), granddaughters Amy, Sara, Nicole, great-granddaughter Ava and his beloved dog, Max. Gary grew up and went to school in San Diego. He is also survived by his sister Charlene (Chat) Ashburn, daughters Patty (Adam), Tina (Jay) five wonderful grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Gary was loved and will be remembered for his quick-wit, his love of horses, a day at the races, Elvis, Waylon, and Willie. Gary had great love for his country, a great respect for the flag and what it stood for. He served his country in the US Army for 3 years and will be interred with military honors in San Diego, Calf. Gary loved life and was known for always doing things his way. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched. The family wishes to thank 4 Winds Hematology for their great dedication and support, as well as Hospice of the Valley.

daddy i will miss you so much you are my hero thank you for all your love.i will miss the horse races at delmar with you,i will miss your voice your your hugs and kisses.youare in my heart foreverand ever.i will always remember the summer get togethers with our kids at the beach.you are the best daddy your grand kids will miss you lots and lots.rest in peace daddy i will see you again some day.love hugs forever your daughter patty and family.

To my daddy do,I sure am going to miss you. Thank you for being my wonderful dad.There are so many memories we share, me as a little girl, and all the times patty & i flying to arizona to visit. the goood times at Del mar race track having some cocktails and spending time together, the laughter and your love.Your grand boys Jt & Dusty Newman were so lucky to have a wonderful GRANDPA LIKE YOU. I will greatly miss his mastery of sarcasm and dry humor. Thanks for keeping every family function entertaining with your witty jabs to all around. Christmas just won't be the same this year without hearing you scold "dang it freddy!". With love of course. <3

Gary...Thanks for the the beautiful entertainment center you built in my first house. Thanks for driving over and fixing the drywall in my second house..Thanks for always having a smile. Thanks for being there. I'm sorry it had to go this way...To Gary's family....I don't say this about a lot of people, but Gary was a good man. I'm proud to have known him...
