Eichman, George "Reid" Jr.
George Reid Eichman Jr. 60, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on 10/7/2015. Reid lost his courageous battle to cancer at home peacefully in his sleep in Phoenix, AZ. Reid was born in Ft Campbell, KY but spent his life in AZ. Reid's legacy can be felt as we all remember what a loving son, brother (in-law), uncle, friend and husband he was, his love of diving, tennis and golf, his smile, sense of humor and patience, his sense of adventure and strong will and his LOVE for family and friends. Reid is survived by his wife Diane Veldhuis, mother Joann McMichael, stepfather Randy McMichael, father George Eichman Sr, stepmother Colleen Eichman, brothers Mark Eichman and his wife Robbie, brother David Eichman and his wife Ibi, nieces Stella and Kinzee and nephews Alan, Patrick and Asa. A celebration of Reid's life will be held on Oct 25 at 5pm at Starfire Golf Club located at 11500 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. In loving memory of Reid, the family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of the Valley for their loving care. Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix AZ 85014. My family spent many summers with Reid and his brothers. As first cousins we made so many fun memories that I will never forget.

Reid was my best friend and the brother I never had,I am very fortunate to have had him in my life for over 35 years. Reid I love you,I will miss you, and I will never forget all of the love, friendship, and joy you brought to my life. thank you. you will be missed my friend.
