James Klug Obituary

James Robert Klug, died unexpectedly December 12, 2005 in Sun City. He was born February 13, 1915 in Pittsburgh, PA to Fred and Ida Klug. He was a retired tool and die maker and an inspiration to his family for living life to the fullest, especially in retirement, where friends and neighbors knew him as the man who could build or repair anything, was active in Sun City affairs, still roller skated regularly, and enjoyed dancing the evening before he passed away. He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Ruth Goodwin Klug, his son David Arthur Klug, his brother Fred Klug, and wife Sylvane O. Klug. He is survived by son R B Klug and wife Elise, daughter Barbara Ruth Goodwin and husband Dan Funk, grandchildren Brian Trube, Kristopher Klug and Emily Klug, and great grand daughter Madelyn Trube. Jim was self-taught and successful in many fields. He was an ardent believer in higher education, that anything was possible with the right effort and he was always there to support his family in their endeavors. He will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 16 at Regency Mortuary, 9850 W. Thunderbird Road, Sun City. If desired donations may be made in Jim's honor to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
