Jeffrey Stanton Obituary
60, of Tempe, AZ passed away peacefully on September 24, 2013. Jeff was a beloved son and brother and a terrific friend. His father, Gerald E. Stanton, mother, Patricia W. Stanton, and brother Robert W. Stanton survive him. Jeff was born in Washington, D.C., grew up in Park Ridge and Inverness, IL, attended Fremd High School in Palatine, IL, and had lived in Tempe for the last 37 years following his graduation from Arizona State University with a degree in Fine Arts. Jeff was a creative photographer and had operated Stanton Photography serving the Phoenix area since 1976. Jeff always liked reminiscing about his past photography events such as the Fiesta Bowl, the Phoenix Suns basketball team, and the Scottsdale Charros Organization. Jeff was a lover of animals, especially exotic birds, and enjoyed working on landscaping. Services will be private. Arrangments entrusted to Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary. Contributions can be made in his name to the Barrow Neurological Institute Foundation, 350 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013.

So sorry to hear about Jeff. We had a lot of good times in the 80s traveling and just a good friend.

I knew Jeffrey from ASU and he helped me with photographs for a project I was doing, so sorry for your loss especially since he was so talented and young, my sympathies to his family. Sincerely Tommy Turner

I met Jeff on the Scottsdale Charro Trail ride. Every year he would attend, snap pictures throughout the trip and enjoy the comradery. Hundreds of people have fond memories captured by Jeff's camera. He became a friend to many of us over the years and will be missed.
