John Reigelsberger Obituary

John B. Reigelsberger, 78, died September 23, 2008. Born May 24, 1930 in Gilmore City, Iowa to parents Nick and Jean Reigelsberger. His first two years of college were at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. John then joined the Army during the Korean War and served in Japan for two years. He then attended the University of Arizona to complete his degree in Business Administration. He also worked for the State of Arizona. John married Joyce Hawker on June 27, 1964. They have four children; Mary Reigelsberger, Julie Sergovic, Neil Reigelsberger and Richard Reigelsberger and two grandchildren; Lauren Reigelsberger and Hayden Reigelsberger. John volunteered with the St. Vincent de Paul Society for over twenty-five years at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, before joining the Resurrection chapter of St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. In addition, he volunteered for the Tempe Friends of the Library. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Resurrection. Services will be held at the Church of the Resurrection, 3201 S. Evergreen Road, Tempe, AZ on Saturday, September 27, 2008 with Rosary prayed at 9:30AM and Funeral Mass beginning at 10AM. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1500 E. Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ at 1PM
