Jonathan Gaub Obituary

Gaub, Jonathan Allen
left life's dress rehearsal for his permanent life in heaven on May 3, 2014. Jon was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and a great friend. His carefree spirit brought laughter and joy to all and his servant heart blessed many. Jon was born May 18, 1985 in Phoenix, AZ to Sue (Radobenko) and Mike Gaub and was Jay's younger brother. He grew up in Scottsdale and attended Horizon High School where he played drums and percussion in the marching band and served in the orchestra at Phoenix First. He continued his love for music with a worship band and then into adulthood playing percussion and DJing for many events around the valley. Jon is survived by his Dad, Mike of Washington State and his mother, Sue, brother Jay (and Tricia Coniglio) in Phoenix; his maternal grandmother, Mary Radobenko, numerous paternal and maternal aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He also leaves behind his beloved "man's best friend", Swazee. A visitation for family/friends will be held on Tuesday, May 13, from 11-6 at the Children's Pavilion at Phoenix First on Cave Creek Rd. in Phoenix with the Celebration of Jon's Life on Wednesday, May 14 at 10am in the main sanctuary. A private family inurnment will follow. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Phoenix Rescue Mission and/or Phoenix Dream Center.
